The datacenter consolidation and virtualization project will improve server utilization and make more efficient use of OTT Communication’s storage resources. In addition, the company also implemented a business continuity that will ensure that critical operations continue in the event of an outage – as OTT Communication’s customers depend on them for 24/7 availability and connectivity.

“Mosaic Technology worked with us closely to ensure our team had the latest information on all the products and technologies from all vendors being used in our new architecture,” said Melanie Leighton, Client Applications Supervisor at OTT Communications. “It helped to simplify the communications process, avoid bureaucracy and simplify the project. After the system was operational, Mosaic stayed in close contact and provided constant monitoring of the new system.”

As a long-term customer of Mosaic Technology’s, OTT Communications selected Mosaic to deploy VMware’s Enterprise Plus, VMware site recovery manager, Dell Equallogic, VEEAM and Panologic. Mosaic was able to virtualize the Bangor and Portland, Maine regions, creating a model for the solutions in other regions. OTT was also able to easily scale their new infrastructure, which dynamically balanced the resources across all virtual machines.
