Winchester Systems Storage
The single most critical element in any storage architecture is the disk array. Ultimately, it holds your company's greatest technology assets - its information. Which is why at the heart of every Winchester Systems' storage solution is an ultra-high performance RAID disk array called FlashDisk.
Borrowing on the massively parallel architectures of mainframes, FlashDisk boasts the fastest I/O rates and highest sustained data throughput rates in the industry. Out of the box, FlashDisk is a complete DAS storage system. You name the application; we can improve its performance - from transaction-intense financial, manufacturing and database applications to multimedia, imaging, video, pre-press, web servers, and any networked application, regardless of how many users are on the system.
But speed is only the beginning. In an effort to make FlashDisk unbeatably fast, we also made sure it was incredibly flexible. So in addition to its blazing speed, FlashDisk is incredibly scalable, and offers extraordinary reliability featuring multiple RAID options and hot-swappable drives, controllers and power supplies. And, as your company migrates to SAN or NAS solutions, so does FlashDisk, automatically. In fact, FlashDisk is the only disk array that remains the same design regardless of how your storage architecture changes around it.
Best of all, FlashDisk accomplishes all this while remaining completely transparent to your network and your users. Its open systems design can simultaneously serve multiple hosts, support multiple network protocols, and interoperate with multiple operating systems without drivers or compatibility kits, making FlashDisk easier to understand, deploy and maintain.

FlexSAN is a high availability RAID array with redundant failover controllers and hot-swap redundant components that provide true fault tolerance. It supports both SAS disk drives for high performance and SATA disk drives for high capacity and low cost in the same enclosure. With a popular iSCSI interface, the FlexSAN connects easily to any IP network and can be installed quickly by most network administrators. Fibre channel interfaces are available for compatibility with existing infrastructure and higher performance.
FlashDisk FC-3400 disk arrays provide enterprise class primary storage in an expandable architecture that provides 38.4 TB of exceptionally high performance storage at affordable prices. It delivers over 1,500 MB per second sustained throughput and over 120,000 disk IO operations per second - while maintaining mirrored cache for controller failover.
FlashNAS is a robust, Intel-based 2U file serving "appliance" that runs Microsoft Windows Storage Server 2003. It enables easy deployment of FlashDisk RAID storage to multiple servers and hundreds of users over your existing LAN infrastructure. FlashNAS serves files to any Windows, Unix and Mac OS-X clients without added hardware/software or even rebooting these clients. To simplify management, FlashNAS has a web-based GUI; it offers 64 point-in-time snapshots per volume, user quotas, and file sharing with security for a Windows-centric environment.
FlashDisk OpenRAID 2300 is a series of low-cost, compact, yet powerful external disk arrays for small-to-medium sized businesses needing to expand rackmount server storage. These products have two host ports, a single RAID controller, twelve disk bays, and supports both SCSI and SATA disk technologies to best fit your application.
FlashDisk SAN-In-A-Box provides up to 16 TB of storage using the latest high performance, lower cost SATA II drives and a choice of iSCSI, SCSI, or Fibre Channel host interfaces. It supports up to eight host ports and is ideal for demanding high performance applications such as database, OLTP, multimedia, video-on-demand, web services as well as high capacity secondary storage.
