Sun developed the E3500 to handle the toughest of enterprise environments. This server was built to to be the backbone of many small to medium size businesses. The E3500 holds up to eight 400MHz UltraSPARC processors and holds 8 GB of memory. The 100MHz bus can process 3.2 GB per second of data. It can be responsible for up to 2 TB of storage. This entry level midrange server provides features usually found only in higher end and more expensive solutions. Thanks to the design and price of the E3500, more companies than ever can enjoy the rewards of working with true enterprise fault tolerant solutions.
